We’ve just hit another major milestone at Pretty Darn Fit. More than a month ago I got an email saying we were nominated for Best Fitness Blog at Blogopolis—an annual conference that brings the country’s top people from the blogging and digital marketing industry.
Here, bloggers from all over the nation come together to attend the plenary and get to know other bloggers and social media influencers. The night ends with the awarding ceremony.
Having just gotten a nomination late last year at Bloggys, I was stoked to know that we are, once again, being recognized for what we are doing.
The Awards Night happened on February 27 at Green Sun Hotel. I showed up to support the Nuffnang team and other friends who have been nominated.
I, honestly, did not expect anything especially because all the others nominated under the same category as mine are all very talented, truly amazing and influential bloggers.
I guess that’s why I sort of spaced out when my name was called, and Pretty Darn Fit was announced the winner of Best Fitness Blog. I went up onstage shaking, partly worried I heard the host wrong.
But it was real and it was one of the best nights for one of my most special babies, this blog.
My heart overflows with gratitude and when I look at that colorful trophy sitting on a shelf in the bedroom, I am inspired to keep going. I feel even more hopeful about making the world a healthier, fitter, more mindful place—one blog entry at a time.
