I got to take part in one of the biggest fitness parties held at Bonifacio High Street on April 22-23. For once, I got to enjoy a fitness event as an attendee and not the trainer up front! LOL. ( not complaining, though).
FitStreet was a collaborative effort between Lifestyle Network and Bonifacio High Street featuring activities from some of the top gyms and studios in the Metro including 360 Fitness Club, Anytime Fitness, Urban Ashram, Curves and others. November is World Vegan month and many countries around the globe have begun celebrating it through vegan festivals. Finally, the Philippines’ time has come and we too, get to come together for two weekends of movement workshops, talks and vegan food.
This year’s theme is all about Climate Change, a battle we have been losing for nearly half a century now. If you listened to Leonardo DiCaprio’s speech when he won the Oscar for Best Actor, you probably caught “Climate Change is REAL…” For the longest time, we have been dismissing the idea because this phenomenon never posted immediate harm…until now.

Check out my photo diary below.I was initially invited by SIFCare to take part in the event and be one of the speakers to talk about Yoga in relation to health and fitness. I gladly accepted and was later on also invited to lead a yoga class, which I also did not decline! I always say, “When given the opportunity to serve, who are you to say no?” Continue reading Gift of Yoga with SIFCare [Photo Diary]
Humpday is over and the weekend is , once again, just around the corner. For those who haven’t found their destination yet, here’s a roundup of events and activities happening in the Metro. Go forth and MOVE! Continue reading Upcoming Events: Flow in the Metro this Weekend
A couple of weeks back I have been privileged to be in the company of such a beautiful community brought together by a single goal—to move towards balance. And we did just that. I led this group through a yoga class after sharing my views on sustaining a healthy lifestyle. The event is part of the Brew Your Best Year campaign which sprouted from The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Philippines’ The Giving Journal. It’s the journal (not really a planner) they launch every Holiday season. Continue reading Sharing My Own Cup with The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf
