I’d say there is nothing better than shopping for fitness “toys” with a few of your closest fitness buddies. Continue reading A Fit Girl’s Top Picks from a Shopping Spree at Sportsology
When I started my fitness journey back when I was only a teenager, all I wanted was to lose weight. I would step on a scale almost every day to see if I lost or gained a pound or two. Years later, I’ve become wiser and much less obsessed with the scale. It was like finally being able to free myself from what kept me from being contented with my body and from focusing on what really mattered: my performance. The past two weeks, I took Gabbi Garcia and Sanya Lopez out for a different challenge each and they both got to try something they haven’t done before. If you haven’t caught up with the “Woman We Love” series I’ve started here on the blog, check out the articles I wrote featuring Gabbi and Sanya.
This week is all about my bonding session with Kylie Padilla, and how WE both got to try something new. Continue reading Woman We Love: Rowing with Kylie Padilla
If you’ve read my feature on Polarity Physiotherapy Center, you probably know that I’m on the lookout for hidden (health & fitness) gems all over the Metro. It’s a bug that bit foodies a few years back, sending them on a hunt for great places to dine in less commercial areas. It’s the same one that got fitness enthusiasts shaking their routines up and constantly trying what’s new…or is that just me?

“Glamping by Lifestyle” is back and better than ever as it returns on its second year alongside the Summer Siren Festival happening this April 8 to 10 at Crystal Beach, Zambales.
Lifestyle, the country’s premier cable channel for women, partners up with Travel Factor, the country’s leading adventure company, to bring its attendees the ultimate glamping experience. Yup, no tents to pitch, sleeping bags to unroll, and fire to build here!
Coleman and H&M Home have also pitched in (pun intended!) to provide glamping tents, complete with airbeds, linens, pillows, lamps, and a fan for an extra comfortable experience.
As I write this, I am still trying to settle from the crazy rush hour traffic I have just gotten myself out of. Around us, you’ll notice, things get busier and busier each day as we all struggle to keep up with the pace of how things flow here in the Metro.
I wanted to catch a group exercise class in one of the fitness clubs I like to go to, but at 6:30 PM, it seemed traveling from BGC to Makati was not an option. I just told myself I’ll make up for it tomorrow morning. This has got me thinking, if I already experience difficulty in catching a fitness class squeezing a workout in after a long day, I’m sure others go through it too–and probably even more than I do. Adidas Philippines held the first of a series of pop-up trainings last January 31. Guess who led the workout?
The squad of strong and beautiful women woke up early on a Sunday morning (some were there even before sunrise) to sweat it out with me at Track 30th in BGC. Continue reading Adidas Holds Women’s Pop-up Training in BGC
This has got to be one of the most exciting opportunities thrown my way this year. Since realizing my passions, I have made it my personal mission to inspire others, not just to live a healthier life, but to chase their goals, tackle them and pin them down.
adidas helps women, like me, become the strongest, most empowered versions of themselves and it is such an honor to be part of this team. For every struggle, every drop of sweat, every PR that has to be met, there will always be a moment wherein you’d want to throw in the towel. But if you’re not yet done, just breathe and tell yourself: “I Got This”.

Exciting times are obviously ahead of us as a new Indoor Cycling and Rowing studio opens at Serendra, BGC. Now, just the sound of the name may seem familiar to you– Saddle Row. The Savile Row? Wait ’til you see the place. Continue reading Saddle Row Lets You Ride in Sophisticated Style
I can’t believe it’s only been two weeks since my last entry. It felt like forever and I’ve seriously missed having the time to focus on the blog. It’s not that I’ve suffered from a blogger’s burnout, a writer’s block or anything. Just that I don’t want to type away only for the sake of posting. Luckily today, I only have to teach one class and so I have the rest of the time to rest, recharge and write!
The past few weeks I’ve been missing on the blog were spent making face-to-face, real life connections with a few of the most amazing men and women. I am so thrilled to be sharing with you a couple of successful events I was able to mount with my yogini partner Anna and my friends/support group (Nic, Shirley and DK). I’m writing a series of posts for it but to startHere’s what went on: Continue reading Happiness Happens: Ekam Community Meet-up
